VOA termed as the voice of America. It has authorized exterior broadcast setup of the United States. Broadcasting board of governor controls and manages the functioning of VOA. BBG formed to prevent any type of political or military interference of international broadcasting on the voice of America. Previously, board of international broadcasting was managing its operations and funds. VOA has a large network all over the world. It programs are broadcast on television, internet and radio. It produces programs in nearly 44 languages in the world. It broadcasts news of fifteen hundred hours in a week. The total number of the audience of VOA is one hundred and twenty three million people. It promotes liberty and democracy. It also works to improve the communication and understanding among the nations worldwide.

The concerned goal of VOA is to provide objective, purposeful and unbiased news and information to the general public in America and the viewers outside the country. The international broadcasting bureau regulates and maintains a check and balance system of the VOA. It is written in the charter of the VOA that the news provided by VOA will be accurate, objective and complete. The distribution of the VOA is regulated with the help of satellites, Fm, am, and cable. Furthermore, VOA has also expanded its setup on the websites, mobiles, societal media sites. The total numbers of agreements of VOA all over the world are twelve hundred. Main agreements are signed with the television, cable and radio networks globally. The 2010-budget of VOA was two hundred and six million dollars.

Although the Voice of America is making its contribution all over the world, but the role of Voa Viet Nam is notable. The national language of Vietnam is ‘Vietnamese'. It is spoken by the eighty two percent of the population of Vietnam. Firstly, VOA broadcast in Vietnam during 1943 to 1946. After the year 1951, Vietnamese language is completely operational. Presently, two sessions of radio broadcast produces in a day. There are eighty six million listeners of VOA in Vietnam and millions of outside the country. Voa Viet Nam broadcast is totally related to the events and news of Vietnam. It is also playing a valuable part in learning English. Two programs broadcast to learn English in a week for the people of Vietnam. VOA is improving its network, also ensuring it to comply with the international broadcasting rules. It also makes sure to provide precise, accurate and unbiased news. No doubt, the role of VOA is valuable and giving the new dimensions to media.
